Bibelot

I was at a party a few years ago talking to a guy my husband went to college with and has known for many years. I had just discovered a local Minneapolis gift store with tons of cool gifts ranging from jewelry to apparel to keepsakes and art. The guy looked at me and said, "Oh yeah, Bibelot! I go there all the time!" I said, "Really?" And he said, "No."

I was too caught up in my excitement to see his joke coming. It's true, Bibelot is probably not a store that many men shop in because it's a place to hang out in and really take your time (men don't usually shop like this).

I like Bibelot because it's local but they have a few locations in the Twin Cities. It carries a nice array of products for personal use and for the home. I have been there many times and shopped for my mom, sisters, friends and even my mother-in-law. I found her a really cool tote bag that was a patchwork design and very sturdy. She uses it to carry to the library all the time.

Suffice it to say that whatever the occasion, if I am shopping for any of the ladies in my life I know I can find something at Bibelot.
